First National Bank – Southlake Won Best Designed Bank Building

We are proud to announce that First National Bank – Southlake won the Gold Eagle award in Architectural Design for the Best of Community Banking Awards this year!

“First National Bank moved into their newly constructed, modern three-story 16,183 square foot banking center at the entrance to Southlake, Texas, in January 2021. Conveniently located off State Highway 114, this new banking center was a culmination of the evolution of ideas and the collective decision making between SLI Group, Inc., a commercial design building firm founded in 1976, and First National Bank’s experienced banking staff. The exterior of the building boasts a modern, eye-catching design built with traditional materials that ground the building. The fins and awnings are intended to cast playful shadows on the building that draw attention to the bank from the highway. The interior is a mix of traditional, modern, multi-textured elements that create a welcoming atmosphere to all who enter. The banking center features a spacious lobby and teller area, three conference rooms, airy offices, and a third-floor terrace perfect for hosting community events and employee cook-outs.
